Provisional Reservations
Provisional reservations are held for a maximum of seven days pending the receipt of the deposit (30% of the total amount). After this date, the owners reserve the right to inform the customer of the cancellation of the reservation.
Payment
Payment is due in full 10 weeks prior to arrival, if payment is not received by the due date the owner reserves the right to notify in writing / by email that the reservation is cancelled. The client remains liable for payment of the full balance of the rental price, unless the owner is able to re-let the property.
Cancellation
Guests who cancel up to 4 weeks before the start of the holiday will receive a refund of 50% of the remaining amount. In case of split payment, the booking deposit will not be refunded. In case of cancellation after 4 weeks before the start of the holiday, no refund will be made. We do our best to re-let the accommodation for the relevant period; if we succeed in doing so, there is the option of a refund.
Covid-19/Pandemic/Epidemic
In the event of a national lockdown, either in the Netherlands or in France, which prevents you from traveling, we will refund you the full amount or we can move the reservation to a new date in consultation (with retention of the deposit).
travel insurance
It is the guest’s responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance against any unfortunate circumstances that may cause them to cancel the reservation. Many travel insurance companies offer coverage in the event of Covid-19.
Sleep counts
Under no circumstances should the sleeping capacity of 12 people be exceeded.
animals
Guests must inquire prior to arrival if the owners are willing to accept animals. The owners request that guests who are allowed to bring their pets allow the animals only in permitted areas and ensure that the public areas are left tidy, taking into account the other guests staying at Le Manoir des Granges.
Deposit
A security deposit of €500 will be requested upon arrival and will be returned upon departure, subject to any deductions for damages.
Cleaning
Cleaning is included in the price of the reservation. Please note: we expect the house to be left in the same condition it was found. Money will be taken from your security deposit if the accommodation is not properly left behind.
Contract
Failure to respect the contract may lead to additional costs and/or immediate eviction of the property without compensation.
Arrival and departure
In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 4 pm and depart no later than 10 am. If this does cause problems, please discuss this with us, and if practically possible other arrangements will be made.
Liability insurance
The homeowners have full liability insurance. Parents with children are responsible for the proper supervision of children at swimming pools. The owners do not accept any responsibility for accidents occurring on the property.
The owner is not liable to the customer;
For any temporary defects or interruptions in the provision of public services to the home, nor with regard to any equipment or machines or appliances in the home, garden or pool.
For any loss, damage or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions, riots, strikes, or other matters beyond the owner’s control for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused or suffered by the customer.
If the property is destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any event the owner will, within seven days of notice to the customer, refund to the customer all amounts previously paid to the owner in respect of the rental period. In no event shall the owner’s liability to the customer exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
