Nous avions loué ce gite pour nos enfants que nous ne pouvions loger dans notre maison defamille située à quelque centaine de mètre. Ils ont été enchantés de la situation face à la Roque St Christophe , de la disposition et de la chaleur du gite., ainsi que de la piscine. A recommander sans réserve.

Our group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children stayed in the Tobacco Barn and the Walnut Store for 2 weeks in early July, enjoying magnificent weather. This was our second visit to Paul and Philippa's and as with our previous visit we were not disappointed, accommodation again was great, providing everything we required and once again Paul and Philippa were excellent hosts going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The location of the gites is ideal for exploring the surrounding region, villages, markets, historic sites and much more and the children enjoyed bike riding, canoeing, swimming in the pool and river, walks in the countryside and the table tennis table provided many hours of fun. The village nearby has an excellent shop and restaurant, with a supermarket and a great selection of restaurants in the surrounding villages, all within a short drive from Le Manoir. All in all the ideal holiday location for all age groups. Thank you Paul and Philippa.

Nous avons passé une très belle et bonne semaine dans ce très beau cadre. La maison est bien équipée avec salle de bain/toilettes pour chaque chambre. Une grande cuisine pour accueillir du monde si le temps ne permet pas de rester dehors. La piscine est très grande et bien protégée quand on a des enfants. Les propriétaires, adorables, toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Il y a énormément de choses à voir dans la région. Séjour super et à refaire!

Our family stayed in The Tobacco Barn in July/Aug 2019 we had an *** time the accommodation was lovely and in an ideal location to access all The Dordogne has to offer. We enjoyed canoeing, visiting Sarlat, seeing the caves in Lascaux & lots more. Paul & Philippa were excellent hosts very helpful & friendly definitely hope to return one day. Becky from Fleet UK

We spent a week with Paul and Philippa in July 2019. We were part of a larger group occupying 3 of the gites.
We found the gites to well maintained, well kitted out, clean and more than satisfactory for our weeks stay. The location is fantastic, rural enough to feel isolated, yet close enough to not be out of touch. Paul and Philippa were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Short walk to the local village and river, short drive to a larger choice of dining and shopping. Lots of opportunities to go on short day trips to really pretty local villages. In short, I'd be back and would have no hesitation in recommending it for both family and couples.
