The Haybarn is a cosy little gite with its own sun terrace with a barbecue and views of the well maintained swimming pool and of the Roque St Christophe. The gite is well equipped and the gifts of local wine and home made walnut cake were thoughtful and well received.
Paul and Philippa are great hosts, always available to provide help and advice on destinations and best routes.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had a great week staying at the Roque Terrace. The gite had everything you could want including a comfortable bed. (Always important to us!) Lovely quiet area but within reach of many good sights. You must visit Sarlat and the Roque St Christophe of course! The owners were very friendly and informative and Phillipa makes a superb walnut cake! Enjoyed every minute!

What a wonderful holiday. Roque Terrace is a lovely gite in a fabulous location. It is extremely comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. The pool is super, perfect for a cooling dip after a busy day sightseeing.
The view of the Roque St Christophe is ***, when the visitors have gone and the flood lights come on you can sit on the terrace and believe the light show is just for you.
Philippa and Paul are wonderful hosts doing everything they can to ensure that you have a great holiday. We had such a good time we extended our stay by three days! On our final evening we watched the international space station fly over a prehistoric monument while listening to roaring stags - what more need I say.

Philippa and Paul are the cl***c friendly and helpful hosts. Their group of villas are quiet, picturesque and comfortable. Our villa had a tremendous view across to the Roque St Christophe with the setting sun was memorable. Their suggestions for places to visit were all excellent and interesting.
The knowledge of local culinary sources and restaurants was out of this world. When they offer to book you in to the local restaurant for you first night do NOT refuse. If like us, whom enjoy excellent food, you will book again and again. The chef at the Table du Moustier cooks exquisite food and the wine list is to die for with local wines.
In the area also do not miss the L’auberge du Coq in Fleurac. The owner is a Michelin star chef who decided to move away from large hotel to run his own place.
The area is spectacular with places to visit ie Lascaux 4 you must not miss (buy the tickets on line so you do not have to queue), Baynac and Castlenaud plus the gardens of the Gardens of Marquessac. You will soon fill a week and have a list to return to Philippa and Paul’s Les Manoir Les Granges for another year or two holiday.
